OUR THERAPISTS

Amy Fantalis, MS, MSW, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Founder

For over 25 years, I have provided psychotherapy to teens, young adults, adults, families, and groups. My approach is relationship-based and collaborative; I believe therapy works best when the client and therapist are in it together.

My style is active, authentic, and engaging. I draw from multiple therapeutic modalities and  view my clients through a systemic lens, considering the relationships and environments that shape and impact their lives. Whether working with individuals or families, I often include parents, caregivers, or partners to build a strong team around each client.

A unique aspect of my practice is the five weekly therapy groups I lead for teens, young adults, and women. These open-ended groups offer connection, insight, and support. Many participants describe the experience as life-changing.

I also specialize in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a proven technique for healing trauma and reducing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

In addition to my private practice, I've led workshops on adolescent therapy, group therapy, and family systems, and co-taught Family Therapy at Bryn Mawr College’s Graduate School of Social Work.

Audrey Ennis, MSW, LSW
Licensed Social Worker

I am thrilled to be working at Amy Fantalis & Associates since May 2023. With more than 25 years of experience, I've provided social work and counseling services in schools, homes, and community settings. I received my bachelors degree from West Chester University and my Masters in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. I am a Licensed Social Worker and also certified as a Home and School Visitor and School Social Worker.

My experience is diverse, and includes clinical work with children, teens, adults, and families facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, ODD, trauma, and behavioral disorders. I also have extensive experience working with

individuals with autism and providing mental health services within the school environment.

In session, I utilize clinical approaches that

encourage growth, insight, and self-awareness, while drawing on a strengths-based perspective to assist clients of all ages in reaching their full potential. I believe deeply in a collaborative process-one that empowers individuals to

recognize and understand their worth and

capabilities to successfully achieve their goals.

Sharon Boyd, M. Ed, LPCMH
Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health

As a therapist, I have spent over twenty years working with individuals, couples, and families during times when life feels stressful or unsteady. I have consistently found that beneath conflict, anxiety, and disconnection lies a deep desire to feel understood, valued, and loved. I hold this belief at the center of my (clinical or therapeutic?) work.

My approach is warm and relational, yet direct. I help clients address difficult topics, untangle patterns that no longer serve them, and rebuild trust in themselves and one another. Therapy with me is active and collaborative, grounded in both compassion and accountability.

Trained in couples therapy, EMDR, and other trauma-informed approaches, I help clients gently process past experiences that continue to impact or interfere  with their present relationships. My goal is to create a steady, nurturing space where meaningful, lasting change can take root.
