OUR THERAPISTS

Amy Fantalis, MS, MSW, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Founder
For over 25 years, I have provided psychotherapy to teens, young adults, adults, families, and groups. My approach is relationship-based and collaborative; I believe therapy works best when the client and therapist are in it together.
My style is active, authentic, and engaging. I draw from multiple therapeutic modalities and view my clients through a systemic lens, considering the relationships and environments that shape and impact their lives. Whether working with individuals or families, I often include parents, caregivers, or partners to build a strong team around each client.
A unique aspect of my practice is the five weekly therapy groups I lead for teens, young adults, and women. These open-ended groups offer connection, insight, and support. Many participants describe the experience as life-changing.
I also specialize in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a proven technique for healing trauma and reducing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
In addition to my private practice, I've led workshops on adolescent therapy, group therapy, and family systems, and co-taught Family Therapy at Bryn Mawr College’s Graduate School of Social Work.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I work with teens from middle school through emerging adulthood, and adults of all ages. I am skilled in working with anxiety, depression, neuro-divergence in learning and living, caregiving support, grief and relationship challenges and life transitions.
I bring with me a diverse set of experiences that have helped shape my counseling career over the last 15 years. I have been working with Amy Fantalis and Associates since 2018, providing therapy to individuals and groups. I am currently the field supervisor and adjunct faculty for clinical and school counselors in Widener University’s Counselor Education Program.
I travel the path of parenting along with all of you and know the challenges and joys that it brings and look forward to meeting with you and your family. I am passionate about empowering individuals to find their unique strengths and to experience success and healthy emotional lives.
